A new Galaxy S25 Edge dummy unit has surfaced online, offering our best look yet at Samsung’s upcoming flagship. Shared by Korean YouTuber The Sinza, this non-functional mock-up reportedly matches the phone’s final dimensions—and it’s remarkably thin.
Samsung has teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at two major events this year: Unpacked 2025 and MWC 2025. But both showcases suspended the phone in mid-air, leaving attendees unable to get a feel for the device. With rumors swirling about a ceramic back panel, Samsung may be holding back hands-on access for dramatic effect.
In the meantime, the dummy gives us real-world insight. At just 5.84mm thick, it’s noticeably slimmer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That puts it on track to be one of the thinnest premium phones of the year. The video also shows off the Titanium Jetblack color—a previously leaked finish we hadn’t seen in the wild until now. Alongside Icy Blue and Titanium Silver, this might end up being the fan favorite if the dummy’s visual is accurate.
Some design quirks stand out. The USB-C port, SIM slot, and speaker grill are all slightly off-center on the dummy. It’s unclear whether this is intentional or simply an imperfection in the prototype.
With FCC certification already cleared and marketing assets leaking by the hour, a full reveal is likely imminent. For now, this Galaxy S25 Edge dummy hands-on gives us our clearest view yet of Samsung’s design priorities—and thinness is clearly the headline.
